Your right to delete your data
In accordance with Argentina's Personal Data Protection Law (Law 25.326), you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data stored on our platform.
Sodapp uses Meta's WhatsApp Business API to process orders. If you interacted with a business that uses Sodapp through WhatsApp, you can request the deletion of the data generated during that interaction.
What data we store
When you interact with a business that uses Sodapp, we may store:
- Name and phone number
- Delivery address (street, locality, coordinates)
- Order history (products, amounts, dates)
- Chatbot messages related to orders
How to request deletion
To request the deletion of your data, send an email to:
Subject: Data deletion request
In your request, include the following information so we can correctly identify your data:
- Phone number you used with WhatsApp
- Full name on record
- Business name you interacted with (if you know it)
What happens next
Confirmation
You'll receive an email confirming we received your request within 48 business hours.
Processing
We will delete your personal data from our systems within a maximum of 10 business days.
Notification
We'll send you an email confirming that your data has been deleted.
Data that may be retained
Certain information may be retained for legal or tax requirements, even after processing your request:
- Billing records (tax obligation, Law 11.683)
- Data needed to resolve active legal disputes
In these cases, the data will be kept securely and with restricted access solely to comply with the corresponding legal obligation.
